Community Constable - Mt Roskill: Graeme Bruges
Graeme Bruges is a community constable with many years in the police. He is passionate about Neighbourhood Support and the good it can do and has worked closely with the Mt Roskill area coordinators and groups for many years. He is particularly proud of the high rate of membership of support groups in all areas across Mt Roskill.

Mt Roskill Coordinator: Avon Lines
Avon is passionate about Neighbourhood Support and the good it can do for people in the community. She became involved several years ago setting up groups in Mt Roskill. She is especially proud that we have set up many groups in Housing New Zealand houses and apartments which also include private residences in the area.
In 2007 she was elected to the Neighbourhood Support Auckland Committee where she has continued to follow her passion for the whole of Auckland. She spends most of her spare time setting up groups, attending meetings and events like the migrants festival and Onehunga street festival. She really enjoys working with the police and other emergency services and spreading the message about Neighbourhood Support.
Avon is the Mt Roskill area coordinator working closely with Community Constable Graeme Bruges. She also does work in three kings with the Balmoral community constables and on the events committee for Neighbourhood Support Auckland.
Another passion is work with disabled members and others with special needs in the event of crime, fire or a civil emergency.
Avon has three grown up children and five grandchildren and is a trained nurse working with high special needs patients.
